This Epcot-like Chinese Theme Park Is Equal Parts Creepy And Interesting

NEWS
Yeah, the world seems pretty great and all, but is seeing it really worth going to all of those places? I can hardly muster up the energy to go see what’s in the refrigerator, how am I going to handle all of the traveling that’s involved with visiting the world’s most famous landmarks? It’s not like I can eat those! Luckily, for people like me, you can see most of the monuments, buildings, and other things that you really should see in your lifetime in one go. All it takes is a trip to the Window of the World theme park in Shenzen, China. It's pretty interesting... but it's also creepy. The Residents Of This Australian Town Live Underground For A Very Good Reason. So Smart.

NEWS
The below photos are not, as you might assume, pictures of the desert planet of Tatooine in a galaxy far, far away.  They are actually from Coober Pedy, which is a town that sits in the baking sun of the Australian desert.  The almost 2,000 people smartly decided to build their homes as caves under the earth to shield themselves from the sometimes over 120°F heat. Here is a bedroom. I guess if you ever feel cramped you can just grab a shovel and dig a closet or two. Although these homes look hard to construct, they actually cost the same as any surface level home in the area. The 'cool' thing about living underground is that the caves always remain the same temperature, el...

In India, Monkeys Are Taking Over. That’s Why People Are Being Hired To Scare Them.

NEWS
India’s parliament added 40 employees to its payroll last week. That's good news for the economy and great news for people who would like to make a career out of pretending to be a monkey.  That's because all of the new hires will be mimicking the sounds of langur monkeys to keep macaque monkeys away from a government complex in Delhi. Previously, real langurs were used to keep the macaques--who roam freely as strays through Delhi--from the buildings, but that practice was put to an end after being deemed animal cruelty. The men hired to scare the monkeys have undergone training to sound like langurs, but will not be required to wear a costume or anything to make them look like the parliament protectors they’re replacing.      The monk...

You’ll Be Sick When You See How The Media Twists The Truth Of Our Lives.

NEWS
As networks and publications try and fill the 24-hour news cycle, it's hard to tell truth from fiction someone created to have something to talk about for the next half hour to half year. Unfortunately for us, the viewers and readers, that is the media telling untruths in its most harmless form. As you'll see below, there might be more sinister motives to the way the media tells a story. If true, this is pretty scary stuff. From Egypt to England, there have been various mummies discovered with dark and strange pasts. It may be hard to believe, but decades after these people died, they are still telling stories...  Dead men tell no tales? Now, I'm not so sure about that. 1.) She was only 33 and succumbed to cancer, after which her remains were preserved so that she may be put on display for her mourning citizens. Lots of people dream of taking a long vacation on an island... but not all islands were created equal. They aren't all white sands and clear water. In fact, some can be beautiful while others can be downright creep.y 1.) Isola la Gaiola, Naples, Italy Located off the coast of Naples, this picturesque little island is actually two mini islands connected by a bridge.
